I founded Beautylab Korean MedSpa on the belief that beauty is essential, not just a luxury. Our appearance profoundly impacts our mood, confidence, and relationships—both personally and professionally. When we feel good about how we look, we radiate confidence and enrich our interactions with others.
At Beautylab, I focus on prevention and proactive self-care, offering personalized plans and advanced techniques to delay signs of aging and enhance natural beauty. Inspired by my Korean upbringing, where skincare rituals and holistic health were deeply valued, I incorporate these traditions into a culture of self-care and wellness.
At the heart of Beautylab is the Korean concept of “DaeJeop,” which translates to gracious hospitality. This philosophy inspires me to create a welcoming environment where clients feel cared for and valued. My goal is to deliver beauty solutions with honesty, integrity, and heart, making every visit a reflection of this deep commitment to service.

I was born and raised in the countryside of South Korea and came to the U.S. by myself at 26 years old to explore opportunities.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Korea University, Seoul Korea, one of Korea’s most prestigious universities. And I have over 20 years of experience in the medical field, with the majority of years spent in the operating room. I’ve also worked in pediatrics and intensive care units, GI, and eye procedure departments.
I received my Aesthetics Injector Certification from Aesthetics Medical Education Training. I completed further aesthetics training with Stephanie Holvick of RN Faces LLC, and Dr. Choi and Lim in South Korea.
Currently, I live on a homestead farm in Lexington Kentucky after having lived for 15 years in the San Francisco Bay Area. I’m happily married, am a mom of a teenager, have 2 Great Pyrenees dogs, and am a believer in Jesus Christ. Besides all things beauty I love interior design, gardening, cooking, soap making, and trying different cuisines.

I am a Lexington native who graduated from Katharos School of Aesthetics and received my aesthetics license in 2022. During school, I discovered my passion for the skin and its anatomy + health. After graduating, I quickly learned that the skincare industry in the United States has far too much room for improvement.
Other regions, such as South Korea far surpassing as the US FDA remains behind in cosmetic ingredient approval, prohibition + innovation. As my grandparents had lived in Thailand, I had already become familiar with and held such high regard for Eastern skincare approaches, leading her to the path of creating Skyn Korean Skincare Studio – Lexington, Kentucky’s first-ever clinical Korean skincare studio, here to help and teach others how to care for the human body’s largest, outermost organ that is designed to protect us.
